Matcha Tiramisu

Experience dessert in a new way with this Matcha Tiramisu. Using Iki Premium Culinary Matcha, the creamy layers of cheese and whipped cream are beautifully balanced by the earthy, vibrant flavour of matcha. Lightly dipped biscuits and a dusting of green tea on top make it elegant, indulgent, and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Culinary Matcha, sifted

  • 200 g cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup heavy cream, chilled

  • ยฝ cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 pack ladyfinger biscuitsย  or biscuits/rusk

  • 1 cup warm milk (or milk + 1 tsp matcha for extra flavour)

  • Extra matcha for dusting


Method

1. Whip the cream
Beat heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add sugar and vanilla, mixing until smooth.

2. Fold in cream cheese
Gently fold in the softened cream cheese until fully incorporated and creamy.

3. Prepare dipping milk
Whisk matcha into warm milk until smooth.

4. Layer biscuits
Quickly dip each biscuit into the matcha milk (1โ€“2 seconds) and line a flat dish.

5. Add cream
Spread half the cream mixture over the first biscuit layer.

6. Repeat layers
Add another dipped biscuit layer and cover with the remaining cream mixture.

7. Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4โ€“5 hours. Overnight gives the best texture.

8. Finish & serve
Dust the top generously with matcha before slicing. Serve chilled.
