Ingredients (Serves 1–2)
Matcha Chia Layer
-
1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
-
1–2 tbsp culinary matcha
-
3 tbsp chia seeds
-
1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup
Strawberry Chia Layer
-
½ cup fresh strawberries (mashed or blended)
-
1–2 tbsp chia seeds
-
1–2 tsp sweetener (optional)
Method
1. Prepare the matcha base
Whisk the matcha with a small splash of warm water until smooth. Add milk, sweetener, and chia seeds. Stir thoroughly so the seeds don’t clump.
Refrigerate for 2–3 hours or overnight until thick and pudding-like.
2. Prepare the strawberry layer
Blend or mash the strawberries into a puree. Mix in chia seeds and sweetener if using.
Let it chill for 20–30 minutes until it thickens.
Assemble & Serve
Spoon the strawberry chia mixture into a glass.
Top with the matcha chia pudding.
Finish with sliced strawberries, coconut flakes, or extra chia seeds.
